My comments : Story of a Jhahil Ganwaar poverty stricken idiot woman who had a lot of greed in her mind - influenced by movies probably , she falls for a rich playboy and expects him to marry her !! He gives her the taste of betrayal, cheating, lying & kicking, which, she accepts down headed Indian Womanly as in her heart she had accepted him her Pati-Parameshwar !(she actually had done a "Quicky Session" with him because of which she was carrying his Seed (sperm) !She was being warned time & again by a Prostitute - who - mind you - was not a born Prostitute - but her own father had sold her !(so one more aspect of Indian Fathers is evident ! (so its not only Sidney Sheldon coming up with such cheap ideas but it happens very much in India as well !- thanx' to the Government (of,for & by the people )- who failed miserably to educate & feed its people !!)all that they could think of doing was to put the Page 3 Personalities on the top as the crown of Mothe India - the same ones who made a Whore out of All India !! |

"Durga” is the story of a girl who is educated, civilized and sophisticated, belongs to middle class family.
Her father Dinanath, a man of meagre means, has arranged her marriage but it comes to a shattering end due to dowry problem and the marriage did not materalise.
Sunil a rich, playboy somehow traps her in his wicked plans and gets her pregnant. Knowing the fact, Durga’s father, unable to bear the shock, commits suicide.
Durga, persuades Sunil to marry her
and give the due name and shelter to her and the unborn child, but all in vain.
Heeralal a flesh broker, earns his living by means
of immoral business and sells her daughter Shrir
everyday and night, somehow manipulates and gets Durga aborted
and now wants he to adopt the same path of immoral trafiffic, but she resists
to the last.
Helpless, poor, unemployed, shelterless
Durga has no way to go, but to seek shelter under the care of golddess “Durga”.
“Oh! Holy mother save me and strenghen me” is one and only prayer Durga could
offer. And mother goddess “Durga” did inspire her. Sunil’s father, a rich business
tycoon is fond of luxuries and women. She traps him in her false love and lures
him to marry her, to which seth agrees.
Knowing this, Sunil gets baffled-up.
Will Durga now take the place of
her mother ? will Durga now treat him in this manner of shame and torture ?
Will Durga take revenge in this unique style ?
All these questions created a whirlpool around him and he decided to extricate
her ...........
But Durga was very much there to do what nobody else has done so far, neither
the society nor the law, She executed all the sinners and culprits................
And moved towards the horizons of new hopes.............
To-days every women is a potential “Durga”, the fortress of strength. If
Durga, as mother can give birth to humanity, she as goddess can also stain the
sinners.
“Where the women are held in revenrence, the Gods revel there” declares the ancient law-giver Manu. When a woman wants to live a life of honour, chastity and dignity, she is forced to adopt a life of dishonour and disgrace.
Will her dream of living a respectable life never come true ?

Sorry Pals!- This is not the case with all Indian Women - we are living very respectfully and our men take good care of us - now if some greedy woman forgets all about her 'aukad'(the class she belongs to) and jumps on bed - before wedlock - with a rich flirtatious fool - she will have to face the consequences - there have been many films showing such results but the illiterate sect of our Country are not ready to learn - so what can the Government do ...and what can men do ...in fact men have been taught to be overly-courteous towards women....now if a woman wears a skimpy outfit and shows interest in having sex with him (any man) ....how can he turn her down? - thats being illmannered !!
