In 1956, the imagination of the West was caught by the appearance of an extraordinary book. The Third Eye purported to be the memoirs of a Tibetan monk-doctor-pilot named Tuesday Lobsang Rampa, and it included many fascinating apparently authentic details about Tibetan life. However, a few academics engaged a detective to investigate the author, and he discovered that Rampa was none other than one Cyril Hoskins of Rose Croft, Thames Ditton - in England.

I read Lobsang Rampa's books when I was in Ambala, from Kharga Library very close to my residence. After reading Rampa, I even tried meditation as suggested by him and tried to monitor my dream...once I even prayed before going to sleep that I should be led to my soul mates house/ region so that I can see how my soul - mate will look like (well I was just 21 at that point of time..so under the influence of romantic novels & movies, even I had developed this tendency to seek my soul mate..)well nothig much happened but surely I was surprised by all that he wrote ! |
In the Caves of the Ancients it is said that those inhabitants, previously present on mother Earth ,were much more advanced than us as far as technology was concerned !also that there are several such earths which has a time limit after which it dies - he even went Astral travelling ..keeping his physical body under the custody of his disciples- and saw a dying planet - and he even added that such a day will also come to our Earth's life will also end and everything will melt in the scorching heat !!- I was very disturbed to read it !! |
